Hi. I’m Matt Holland, Sports Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer & owner of Lancashire based fitness company Matt Holland Fitness. I am 46 years old and have been in the fitness industry for over 10 years.

In 2007 I moved back to the UK after living in New York for 11 years. One of the major factors in me moving home was that I decided it was time for me to change the unhealthy lifestyle of fast food & alcohol that I had become accustomed to in the USA. I started exercising 3-4 times a week and also completely overhauled my diet.

I decided that I wanted to help other people achieve similar goals. It is my personal goal to help as many people as possible, of all ages, with all different weight issues, ailments, injuries & requirements to pursue & achieve their health and fitness goals.

  • Occupational Injury Massage (Treatment of work based ailments eg back/shoulders aching from desk or driving based work)
  • 1-1 or group Personal Training (Studio based)
  • Strength & Conditioning

I am a fully qualified Level 4 VTCT Sports and Deep Tissue Therapist. I am also qualified as a Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer. Other qualifications include Circuit Training, Strength & Conditioning, Core Stability/Core Strength, Myofascial Release and Posture Alignment.

I am listed with The Federation of Holistic Therapists. I am fully insured and First Aid certified.
